Terms and Conditions for Online Registration

1. Introduction Welcome to The Ashtanga Institute www.theashtangainstitute.com (“we,” “our,” “us”). By registering for our services like online yoga or Naturopathyyoga classes or courses, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your registration.

2. Registration and Account

You must be at least 18 years old to register. This is for account creation for the organization to be in touch with the parents, but yoga can be learnt from any age.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
The information provided during registration must be accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

Any unauthorized use of your account must be reported to us immediately.

3. Payment and Fees

We use payment gateway for processing payments. We do not store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved.

Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

All course fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. (Is this clause needed as for some courses they pay in installments).

Payments are non-refundable, except as outlined in our refund policy.

To complete your exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: Yoga service of providing personal trainer (in case of part of service is used)

We reserve the right to change course our fees at any time. However, fees will not change for courses already paid for.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made within 48 hours of registration may be eligible for a full refund.

No refunds will be provided after the course has started. In the event that we cancel a course, a full refund will be issued.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your refund request is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your refund request. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 15 days.

5. Course Content Access and Conduct

Access to course materials is granted upon successful registration and payment. You agree not to share, distribute, or reproduce course content.

Any form of disruptive behaviour may result in suspension or termination of your access without a refund.

6. Health and Safety Disclaimer

By participating in our yoga classes or courses, you acknowledge that physical activity carries inherent risks.

You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically capable of participating in the classes / courses.

We are not liable for any injuries or health issues arising from participation.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, including videos, texts, and images, are our property and protected by copyright laws.

You may not use any part of the course content for commercial purposes.

8. Privacy Policy

When you purchase something from our site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address , email address etc.

When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

We collect and store personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at theashtangainstitute@gmail.com Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.

Continued use of the course after modifications indicates acceptance of the updated terms. (Didn’t get this clause)
